Are your ceramics food-safe?
Yes, all of the glazes are food safe. Recipes have been reseached to ensure their saftey.

Can they go in the dishwasher or microwave? 
How should I clean them?
Yes! My ceramics are dishwasher-safe and made for everyday use. However, repeated exposure to dishwasher detergents and long wash cycles can gradually dull the glaze’s finish. To help keep your pieces looking their best for years to come, gentle handwashing with mild soap is always a good option.

When using the dishwasher, leave space between pieces to prevent them from knocking against one another and chipping.

Bakeware 

Is your bakeware oven-safe?
How should I heat it? 
Can it go straight from the refrigerator into the oven?

This handmade ceramic bakeware is oven safe. For gradual heating, place room-temperature bakeware in the oven at a low temperature, then increase to your desired baking temperature. Never place w directly from the refrigerator into the oven—allow it to reach room temperature first. Avoid sudden temperature changes, which can cause cracking.

Will my piece look exactly like the photograph? 
Why do sizes, shapes, and glaze colors vary?

Each piece is made by hand, so a little variation is part of its character. Subtle differences in size and shape reflect the making process, while my layered glazes develop their own patterns and color shifts in the kiln. Colors may also appear slightly different from screen to screen.

If you’re purchasing the exact piece photographed, that’s the one you’ll receive. For pieces offered in multiples, yours will share the same overall design and palette, with details all its own.
